A note about Hill Day from the State Recognition Task Force:

We ARE proposing legislation this year. Instead of licensure we are aiming for title protection. We are excited to see what progress we can make this year!

Hill Day will be held from 8:00 am-4:00 pm. If you cannot come for the whole day that is not a problem. Please stop by when you can. If you plan to attend the whole time, check in will begin at 8:00 am. Please plan to meet us in the rotunda. We will have a table of information in the rotunda so that legislators and others can come and learn more about music therapy in the State of Iowa.

We will be making visits with our own legislators to discuss our bill and the importance of music therapy in their respective districts. If you have never been, or are a bit hesitant about meeting with legislators…our task force members will be there to help with those discussions….so please don’t let that stop you from attending!
Please let us know if you are able to attend by February 14th.

We will be dressing in business attire.
